Due to the impacts and ongoing response to Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, we unfortunately have to postpone the 2017 Hazus Users Conference until next year. After discussions with SC Emergency Management, the College of Charleston, FEMA, and several potential attendees it has been determined that many of us will be busy in supporting ongoing missions and would not be able to make it to Charleston this year.
Currently we are looking at the best time to host the conference in 2018, and we are shooting for March 2018 with the exact dates TBA. If you have already registered for the conference we will be contacting you shortly to see if you would like a refund on your registration or would like to have it applied to next year. Additionally, sponsors will be contacted to see how they would like their donations returned or carried over.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. If you have any questions, please reach out to the Hazus Outreach Team at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are one of the many responding to help with either of the hurricane’s aftermath please stay safe. We hope to see everyone in Charleston in 2018!
